We are very proud to be the oldest Gottscheer organization in North America.

Annual Independence Day Picnic
Sunday, July 5 • 12 p.m.
Doors Open at 12:00 pm
Admission is $5 per person, children 10 and under are free
Join us on Sunday, July 5th, as we celebrate America's 250th Birthday at The E.O.U.V.'s annual Independence Day Picnic! Doors open at 12:00 Noon, with admission just $5 per person and children 10 and under admitted free. Enjoy a wonderful afternoon of family, friends, food, music, and tradition. The festivities begin with the Gottscheer Blaskapelle at noon, followed by the ceremonial keg tapping at 12:30 PM. We are also pleased to welcome the Gottscheer Heimatchor, along with performances by the Kinder Tanz Gruppe and Adult Tanz Gruppe as they showcase our cherished heritage through music, song, and dance.
Schnitzel dinners with all the trimmings will be available beginning at 12:45 PM for $15, with Slovenian sausage sandwiches and hamburgers available later in the afternoon. The Jeff Pecon Orchestra with Joey Miskulin will provide lively entertainment, and don't miss the annual stein holding contest, children's activities, games, and other surprises. A special thank you goes to our dedicated Strudel Crew for once again preparing their famous homemade apple strudel. We look forward to celebrating this historic occasion with you and your family at The E.O.U.V.!

We would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who came out to celebrate The E.O.U.V's 135th anniversary on July 6th and 7th of 2024. Your presence filled the atmosphere with friendship, love, joy and so many cherished memories. We are deeply thankful for your unwavering support of our beloved club. A special thank you goes out to all of our members, family and friends who made this weekend so unforgettable.

Support the E.O.U.V.
Donations have helped us maintain and improve our lovely grounds and facilities and they will help us continue our traditions and events for years to come! This past year with your generous donations we have been able to update the Pavillion, the foyer to the Club, plant flowers, replace ceiling tiles, fix the cooler, replace deck boards as well as keep the Club up and running during one of the most challenging years yet.
We truly can’t thank you all enough and are eternally grateful!
